Not for me it doesn't, Jared.  The site I am wrestling with is using XSLT.  If
you edit the search string generated by the XSLT to exclude [();], then it
works, with or without QueryAutoTruncate turned on, so that may be the best way
to go, at least for XSLT-based sites.
