After speaking with Matthias, this file is necessary if you want to check the
test provided in docs. It could have been empty.

I've reviewed all the patch, and don't see anything that should not be here.
I did some tests, nothing seems brokent (and nothing in the message log)

chris = not sure what to do with the patch status in such a case. will switch
back to QA passed, but this may be disputable
