I should add, I tested all from every place I know of where one can search
patrons, so:

mainpage.pl
members-home.pl
The "Check Out" field in the masthead.

I also tested the following, which I neglected to include in my commit message:

Patron search limited by branch: Works
Patron search limited by patron category: works
