Ok, corrected my email settings and confirm now that serial alert mails work in
current master :) Even diacritics are correct.

So each time I receive a serial for the subscription the user is subscribed to,
an email is sent out informing that a new issue has arrived.

Nicole, can this bug be closed? Do you need any more information to document
this feature?
