Frederic,
It took me some time to find this out too. But the retrieval section in
koha-conf.xml is now just fallback information. So you should also change the
new retrieval files in etc/zebradb for biblios and authorities on dom and grs1.
Just found this out by testing the 9998 port with some recordSchema's.
