Ian, you may find this more to your liking. By implementing the functionality
of your script directly in cancel_expired_holds.pl, we get rid of the
possibility of cronjob conflicts, and remove the necessity of new system prefs
and db revs. So we gain the advantages of both and the disadvantages of none.
