There's a mysterious table message_transports. If letter code is in that table
it is considered "protected". I am not familiar with logic behind that.

If system has patron attributes switched on, those should appear in the fields
list for pick up as borrower_attribute.*

Also, we should compile a list of remarks and possibly make corrections for the
inportant ones immediately, and leave the rest as later enhancements
