mmm... strange, I can't reproduce this problem.

I use chromium shipped with Ubuntu: 18.0.1025.168 (Build de développement
134367 Linux) Ubuntu 12.04

I don't think i've any plugin installed (I don't use chrome daily)

I played with some searches, history page, running a search from history,...

Could you describe exactly what you were doing ?
