Right, so can I assume that we all agree that I put the numbering back
conditionally? And since this has been pushed to master, I take that we need a
new
bug report.

BTW, hiding items is not the only way to make numbers skip, not showing
non-available items is an example.

And I'm not the author, just a willing executor :)
