Yes, it uses ?. I thought I could trick, it but the script is too clever for me

I would change it if there was no other way, but the whole thing *is* wrong:
* ? (or IF, does not matter) is used to set an attribute conditionally; that is
not such a rare occasion
* in this particular case, we have 2 conditional attributes, which brings us to
one line being replaced with four; I hate to think of a poor soul that would
have to deal with three conditional attributes

I will not make any changes now, because Mason James is working on an improved
version, so we'll deal with it when the new version is ready.

BTW, how do you set that DO-NOT-USE status?
