Frédéric,

1) First, this patch is not intended to be pushed in master as is, but to start
a discussion. So, could you make a counter-proposal patch using
Locale::TextDomain?

2) Ok, moving po and script could be done easily.
By 'integrated with existing workflow', do you mean that the po for a language
has to be updated when executing './translate update LANG' ?

3) I'm not sure how this can be done, but won't this make the loading of the
page slower?
