In french translation of calendar.inc :
Because (line 31) :
    currentText: _('Today'),
is translated
    currentText: _('Aujourd'hui'),
additionnal quote brakes the Javascript.

This provokes the use of american format dates in calendar pop-up.

I had a discussion on translate list, the way chosen to repair it is to use
HTML escape char sequence "'" instead of single quote in translated
strings.
Same thing for double quotes, &, < and >.

So I will correct on translate site but one can follow the resolution on this
bug.
