I'm trying to document this feature, but see no examples at all in this thread
on what the preferences are looking for as values.

Is it a comma separated list? If so, what does it look like?

100a, 245a

or

100$a, 952$8

??  Please provide me with an example so I can add these preferences to the
manual.
