Maybe I'm overlooking something obvious, but why are we letting an expired
patron do "anything". This seems like a huge patch for something that should be
straightforward, no?

When logging into the OPAC, shouldn't we just check to see if the patron is
expired, and if so...throw up a page that says "You're expired. Consult the
staff at your library to be renewed" or something along those lines.
