I have been thinking about this for a while now and I can see that it's
problematic because the old behaviour has been broken quite a while ago and now
it could be a problematic change for other libraries using Koha's acq. 

I was wondering if I could use jQuery to 'revert' to the original behaviour...
probably a bit tricky, but it could work until we see this fixed properly.
