I'm taking a chance on this and have pushed it to master (and the reason why
I'm taking a chance is that I've also written and pushed a regression test that
shows, with the dataset provided by Henri-Damien, that GRS-1 and DOM indexing
are behaving the same).

I'm not sure where Jonathan's 27 hits on "wil" are coming from -- only 11
records in the sample file have that sequence of letters at all.  Are you using
a different dataset?  If so, could you attach the records or a download link to
the bug?

I'm setting to in discussion rather than pushed to master in case it turns out
that I was too precipitous and a revert is needed.
