I test against master 3.15.00.036.
[Preference UseICU set to "Using"]

I've tested ACQ, Serials and the Advanced Search module. 

IMO the patch is OK about these 3 modules.

So I pass the patch to "Signed Off" status.

Some doc about advanced search test.

I create some [fictious] authorities (personal name' author, topical term'
subject) with Japanese (such as 本学会誌), Greek (Σῖγμασς), Arabic (مكن إجراء البحث
من), and some other (ČčĕīōŠ) chars. 
Then I fill the 700$a and 650$a of some biblios with them. Titles of the
biblios have those chars too.

Some fields are like the following ones (1 alphabet's chars only):
يمكن إجراء البحث من
Σῖγμα, σῖγςμας
本, 学会誌

whilest other fields are mixture (!) of some alphabets' chars, such as:
Čajko author Ibn Gĕbīrōl, Šĕlōmōh ben Yĕhudāh يمكن إجراء البحث من
Alcock 実 μσῖ, Ian
Č topic mu μμ Gĕbīrōl, Šĕlōmōh ben Yĕhudāh, Petr Ilʹič

I think the mixture fields are perhaps not real cases: anyway I've checked the
koha's behaviour on these hypothetical cases too.

Searching is OK (keyword, keyword as phrase, Author, Author as phrase, Personal
name, Personal name as phrase, Subject, Subject as phrase). 
Facets are created well. The link from a facet is OK (the answer is correct),
with the exception of NB1.

NB1. The mixed fields with 2 [or more] adjacent Japanese chars are well listed
in facets, but these facets have bad links, selecting erroneuosly nothing;
i.e. these kind of facets find nothing [because of the two adjacent Japanese
chars inside]:
No results match your search for 'kw,wrdl: ...' with limit(s): 'au:Σῖγμαprovo実会
mu μμμ, σῖγςμας'

NB2. If I search for 'Č' in :

advanced search, f.i. by "Keyword" field, [in ADVANCED SEARCH]
search authorities by "Contains" operator, [in AUTHORITIES]
search authorities by Tag editor, f.i. by "Main Entry contains" [in CATALOG]

the answer is the same as the answer against searching for "c". Perhaps this is
the expected behaviour.
