This is why I generated the last two patches.
I added some not quite perfect testing for the first patch too.
However, the testing becomes nicer when all four patches are applied.

I did not add in the Email validation library as Marcel suggested in comment
#7.

I did not centralize anything. I don't know if Kyle was intending to imply that
not centralizing it would mean this patch wouldn't make it past QA in comment
#9.
