Useless to translation strings

Jonathan suggestion works.
Using 

 next if ( $t =~
/^(›|%%|%s|\s|\d|\.|,|;|:|\?|\!|\*|#|-|\+|x|=|~|<|>|\||\/|\\|\(|\)|\[|\]|\{|\}|"|')*$/
);

also catch more strings, see attached file.

My question: Is there a better o more elegant way to write this?
