Hi Aida,

this is most likely a configuration issue. You are probably not using ICU
indexing, which is needed to make the search for non-latin characters work
correctly. Instructions on how to activate ICU can be found on the Koha wiki.
If you have more questions about ICU, the mailing list is a good place to ask
for help.
