Thanks for your quick reply - yes that makes sense and will improve the user
records, preventing the email address appearing in multiple places.  (e.g.
email, userId etc)
It also helps to reduce the number of fields required to create a user record -
e.g. at the desk while a new patron is waiting to checkout a book.
