It works nicely.
I have tried to add this line in the finish method, but did not work.
The only concern could be in case we need debugging. If something wrong happens
it is good to know what kind of batch has been launched. Apart from that my
patch was not much better than yours...

That's really weird, I'm sure it worked when I have submitted my patch set on
bug 11395.
