I have the same feeling as David, it sounds a bit hacky.
I understand your problem, but you have to provide something useful for others,
not a specific stuffs for you.
I would like to see some docs on the help page to explain what it is possible
to do with this new fields.
As David said, I don't think it's a good idea to add this field at the server
level, we could have the need to use 4=109 and 4=1 in the same query.
A dropdown list in front of each field sounds more useful and flexible.

I don't mark it as failed, I would like to get another QAer's opinion.
