It will, unfortunately, be difficult to impossible to integrate the existing
UI, but would a good future enhancement be an expanded version of the current
fixed-field widgets? I agree, the current UI is intended mostly for those who
have the fixed-field formats deep in their bones.

This could be a lot trickier, as the MARC frameworks in Koha do not contain any
information about indicator values/use; we'd have to extend them to include
that before adding this functionality to Rancor.
