This seems to be fixed in master

Test procedure used:

1. Set item to missing status.
2. Run inventory with barcode in file.
3. See that the last seen date has been updated, and the missing status is
still intact.

When I tested against 3.21.00.016, I found that the missing status had been
cleared for the item in question.
