This search generates a quite long SQL query: http://pastebin.com/qYULAHsm
where the search is done on firstname, surname, email, othernames and
cardnumber.
But basically you're right, it does something like (Name OR (Library AND
Category))
I don't know if this is intended or not, and as the behaviour is the same as
master, I suggest to open a new bug for that.
