Barcodes showing in item edit. But No barcode in catalog

I recently added a record for a book into my catalog.

I then added items, 2 copies, of the book.

Added the information I had at hand.

The issues I'm running into is when I search the title in the catalog, the
record comes up and shows both items attached to that records.

When I go to edit the items for that record, the barcodes attached to the items
show fine.

When I view the items when searching the record, the barcode column shows blank
and also shows null in the database.

If I manually add the barcodes for the items through the database, they then
show in the staff client, and those items can then be checked out to patrons.
