I also like the ':' (currently it is ':' should it be ';'?) between title and
volumne, a solution would be to make it conditional, so it only appears if a $v
is present. 

I will also change the separator between multiple fields. I would suggest
leaving terminal punctuation, simply because most of the fields in the current
xslt do use it.

Let me know what you all think, and I will try to get an amended patch up this
evening.
