On a MARC21 installation:

1/ Still exists
2/ Is fixed
3/ The default values are not retrieved (if use the default framework)
4/ Still exists
5/ Hard to say...
6/ Yes, normal I suppose :)
7/ The encoding problem seems to be fixed, thanks bug 11944 :)
