There's not really enough info to go on there. I'd start by looking in the
logs. Many operations should be filling them full of search traces and so on,
so that might have useful things in it.

Have you followed the steps in here:
http://wiki.koha-community.org/wiki/Elasticsearch
in particular, adding the mapping SQL file into the database.
