I have retested this. With the sample data:

- Search for an existing 'Kid' patron
- buttons display as 'Ändern' and 'Löschen'
- click 'Ändern'
- Search for an adult patron to link to and confirm
- Suddenly instead of 'Ändern', there is 'Change'
