I tested it in Opera, Chromium and Firefox. 
According to this page, it doesn't work in Safari and IE, but it will work in
Microsoft's new browser Edge:

There are some polyfills available, based on flash:

There is also an plugin for IE and Safari, which implements WebRTC:
