Displaying 500 Serial Items in the staff client's detail.pl takes ~15+ seconds.
This is awkward.
Placing Item-level holds for the aforementioned Items is also very clumsy.

This huge modification dabbles with front-end javascript Object-driven SPA-type
approach to the solution utilizing the brand new Beta-REST API.
