Frédéric made me aware that this one could be an alternative to

One thing that's been a problem with cover images is the different caching
policies from the providers which is of course unfortunate. Does this patch by
any chance implement setting caching on/off per source to handle this? 

(Sorry if I'm being lazy, but searching for cach* in this thread gives a bit
many hits)
