I get results from "opac-search.pl?idx=su%2Cphr&q=rites+and+ceremonies" and
"opac-search.pl?q=su:"rites and ceremonies"

I get no results from your example,
"opac-search.pl?q=su,complete-subfield:{Rites and ceremonies}" but I'm not sure
how you came up with that search. Is that triggered through a form in the OPAC?
Or is it written manually?
