Any update on this?

We have a simpler version (Bug 11361) that hasn't been pushed much because of
this, understandbly.  Our client's code has been in production at 20+ colleges
for many years now and satisfies their needs.

We can help on getting this through, or just get the word to kill it
(proprietary info??) and give love to the other one.  Zeno hasn't followed up
on his 2016-08-14 comment.
