This must be just a JavaScript regex Alex, I'd drop that part of the check.

Mark what? Koha can't possibly know what you old password was. Do you mean you
can't enter a password that is already in use? That's way outside the scope of
this then.

Please remember too to keep chill when you are dealing with a first time
commiter. Or we will never have 2nd time commiters :)
