To reproduce:

I.e configure an item field for a framework of your choice:
  - default value: type "<<YYYY>>-<<MM>>-<<DD>>",
  - Visibility: check "Editor",

Edit an item of a biblio with this frameworkcode. In the field you have
configured, you should see "2017-<<MM>>-15" (for today).
