I don't know how those 'sha1 information is lacking or useless' happen, but it
made the stack of patches impossible to apply anywhere on the master tree,
period.

Since this is not really a rebase, I went ahead and remade that patch whole
from one the that was up there. It should now apply cleanly without any manual
intervention with the exact same code.

Unfortunately, because that patch stood in the middle of the others, I had to
reupload and obsolete the last half just to place the new one back in its right
position. Sorry for the wall of text.
