At the moment on Ubuntu 16.04.05 it is not possible to get an official release
upgrade from mariadb. On Ubuntu 18 it's "10.1.34-MariaDB-0ubuntu0.18.04.1". Out
of the box that doesn't work. You just need another release package from
another source. It would be okay to do that, but you just need a check or a
warning and a stop of the upgrade process from koha-common if you not have a
mariadb version that can handle this emojis in its index.
