I do not think I get that one, please read again the whole diff:

before:
if $interface == opac:
  use opaclanguages
elsif $interface == intranet:
  use language
else:
  use opaclanguages

after:
if $interface == intranet:
  use language
else:
  use opaclanguages

Looks equal for me.
