I really think this woudl be better on the mailing list - here it's only me and
I am reaching the end of my knowledge. We know it does work in 17.11 as we are
using it without issues, so we need to pin down why it's not working in your
instance. I highly suspect a setup/configuration/data issue at this point, as
you are not able to access the records in your installation either.

For example you could also try it in Biblibre's demo, which is using UNIMARC:

I've just tested it there and it works pefectly including the item information.
