If you realy are in search engine configuration. 

Remove the patch, so you should be in master.
- return to search engine configuration 
- go to bibliographic records or authorities
- at the bottom of the tab, you should see the add line because this patch just
add the line at the bottom of search field
- if you don't, there is a issue on your side
