I am really unhappy about this tbh - we are introducing database specific
things.  Pretty new to the RDBMS too if I under understand Julian's comment on
bug 23914 correctly and with different syntax already for the 2 RDBMS we
support atm. We had agreed on not using MysqlIsms as a community and we should
have discussed this...  Is it really worth it? Do we need this check so
urgently and can't solve this in another way?
