I am not sure about the use case here. What you can already do:

- If you are creating your items on order or on receive, you can move the items
or merge the records and the order information should follow (if we broke that,
this would be a bug)
- You can transfer order lines from one basket to another leaving a trail of
what happened in the old basket.

What is the thing we are missing?

For new features, it's good to file them against master - 18.11 will be end of
life soon and new features go into master first.
