Yes, they have the same content :)

Last question: some may be used to the old syntax, doing ./translate
create|update on misc/translator/, they need to use it anyway to do the install

What do you think of executing 'gulp' from translate script?
and perhaps using "--silent" to suppress messages unless verbose mode is
requested?
