OK... But having NEITHER checked also breaks the rule of keeping behavior as it
is when upgrading. That has been my whole point. 

To your point the email box SHOULD be default checked. (so they keep getting
the auto renew emails)
The digest box should NOT be checked.

If both are not checked they will go from getting way too much email to getting
NO emails about automatic renewals.
