I think we do not have to bother about the braces here.  In very formal ISBD a
date like this should be surrounded by braces, but in older records the whole
zone 4 could be in braces, not the individual elements (like: [Roma : s.n.,
18--]).  The function _adjust_pubyear works well in both cases, paying
attention on numbers only and characters after.
