I think options like forgiving fines, check-in date, and trigger holds would
all be good options.

It should present a table of results.  If there is a fine, it should show if it
was forgiven.  If there is a hold, there should be a button to confirm, confirm
and print, or cancel (maybe), and when clicked, it would do it, but the buttons
would disappear, but the table results remain intact.  If nothing, it will just
show it was checked in and the date it was checked in for.
