I think we can't change this in genearal, but it's possible to use ccl queries
in this field, so you could type: ti,phr:search terms
This will achieve what was asked for here.

Maybe another idea for bigger catalogs would be to have something like an
'advanced search' option. Or an "search to order" feature that would give us
all the search capabilities of the normal catalog search - I filed bug 24347
for this idea.
